Reservations are highly recommended soon in your pregnancy, because Palm Springs Doula only takes on two births a month.

Please book a gratis consultation here and we can be on the phone or video chatting by as early as this evening, It's a pretty instinctual feeling to click with someone. When you know who the right Doula is for you, we can book your first prenatal meeting. During this service, you can secure your birth month by signing a service contract and investing in your service retainer.

Doula Services

 

Palm Springs Doula Full Birth Assistance Package

This service includes -

  • Personalized prenatal meetings in the comfort of your own home. We will discuss Childbirth Education, methods coping with labor discomfort, when to go to your place of birth, what to expect and what to bring. I provide information on interventions and their benefits and risks and making an informed choice as well as what to expect with your newborn baby and an in-depth discussion about breastfeeding. We will also make reservation of your birth month by retention and contract signing.

  • Access to the Palm Springs Doula library of media on health, pregnancy, infants, parenting, exc.

  • An additional meeting to plan and write your birth plan in detail.

  • One hour Prenatal Yoga Session specifically tailored to teach you to prepare your body for easier labor.

  • Delivery of your printed Birth Plan to copy for your family, Midwife or Dr., and nurses.

  • Accompaniment to meet your Doctor, Midwife, or Nurse Practitioner.

  • Delivery of a decadent local-made body scrub for your growing belly skin.

  • Email contact to answer questions from retention date to two weeks postpartum.

  • 24/7 phone, virtual call or text availability for questions or concerns two weeks prior to your due date until delivery.

  • 8 or more hours of labor assistance and hands-on birth work with additional hours available or back up Doula available to step in.

  • Hands-on comfort measures and support, guidance, and encouragement available to you at your place of labor and birth until you and your baby are comfortable and settled in.

  • Help with initial nursing session at place of birth.

  • Images captured during your labor and delivery. (If the situation allows for this.)

  • Follow up visit in your home between weeks 1-2

Placenta ENCAPSULATION / by trusted local placenta worker

Currently, Palm Springs Doula does not encapsulate placenta for ingestion but we do hire out this work to a trusted certified local placenta worker with years of experience. She offers three ways to consume your placenta and will pick up this organ from the hospital after your delivery. This process takes planning. Please reach out for more information. 

birth Only

The Birth Only Package is a much smaller investment because it's no frills. This package is created specifically for women who have given birth before or only wish to have hands on help during labor.

Second Birth
